   Yikes!  Did that thing have steel rivets in it?  All the riveted one's I've come across had nice, soft, friendly, cuddly (okay, going a bit too far) aluminum ones.
   Of course, the ones on the car now have steel hex heads.  I don't dare try removing the end without backing them out.
