[Shotimes] Power Windows Troubleshooting

This may not directly address your question, but my son and I just resolved
a hard cranking problem on the driver side manual window regulator of his
2000 Civic. The driver window on this car has been problematic for years,
despite the low mileage (~48k) on the car.

First we had to replace the regulator itself, which had failed due to the
high friction of the glass moving up and down in the rubber window channel.
We then tried some silicone spray on the window channel, to no avail. Only
after replacing the window channel did we find success. My glass guy says
this is a common problem on these cars, which is kind of disturbing.
