Excellent suggestion, Jim!! I used Porterfield R4S pads on the last two Gen
2s I had, and loved them. They even list rear pads in R4 and R4S for the '89
SHO:
Go to HYPERLINK

do the search.

I have bought the PFCM for the rear also at AZ, but not recently.
The last time I bought rear pads they were from Porterfield.
I have been happy with the Porterfields, both back and front. Although,
the '95 SHO from David Bonds has ORM Ford pads and they are also
good ('96 upgrade).
