Others can chime in that actually participated in both events. IMHO a day of
down / travel time between the road course and drags is not a bad idea. At
the conventions it isn't so bad when you are going back to the same hotel
and everything is all settled in. Most folks will stay at different places
during the week, and Doing that after a long day at the roadcourse (or the
morning of the drags) is not my cup 'o tea..
