Thing I've heard is that Lime Rock is a very expensive track, along with
Mid-Ohio, so there aren't many "cheap" track days to be had.

Of all the tracks I did while living in NY, Limerock was the shortest drive,
right in my backyard.  Yet I didn't do it till RIGHT before we moved.  It's
an awesome track, so much fun.  I was kicking myself in the pants for not
doing it much much sooner, I would have done a 1/2 dozen events a year had I
known!

It's a good "SHO" track.  Easy on brakes, just bring sticky tires, stick it
in 3rd and ride the roller coaster.
