You can't.  If she has the EATC she cannot add an aftermarket radio.

my friend's sister recently swapped up from a honda civic to a 99or 00
Taurus SE. She had a cd player in the civic, and wanted my friend to
transfer it into the taurus. He bought a face plate that had a/c control
knobs on it, but according to an email she sent me, it was not the same as
the a/c controls that were already in the car. I have not seen the car or
the new faceplate yet; they are supposed to be driving it over to my house
this weekend. Are there two types of units for this car? I'm guessing she
has what is the equivalent to the EATC in my SHO. Does anyone know where i
can get a faceplate to match?
