[Shotimes] Need Advice Quick... SHO or SLO

The 2000's are sort of "muts" - you might get a Gen 3
tranny, you might get a Gen 4 tranny.  2001+ models
are good though (plus the 2001+ models have 11.6"
front brakes a la 96 SHO).  The transmissions were
revised, I don't  know the details of the revisions,
but I know they are greatly improved over any other
previous generation.  We are seeing excellent
reliability on the higher mileage Gen 4's out there
from TCCA members.  My 2001 now has over 83k miles on
it and it's still like a new car.  Shifts are quick
and crisp - the adaptive shifting is great on the Gen
4's - I love it.  If you drive like a grandma it will
have slow, smooth shifts, but if you are a bit of a
lead foot the shifts will firm up and quicken.
