I use the preston kit for chips and cracks available at your local wallymart
worked good for 2 years on my Opal when I got a crack in the pass side. Took
two years for the fix to give up and then one day the crack decided to start
growing again. One thing I have been told is to stop it from ever growing
further, one should get a tiny drilbit for glass and drill through the one
layer of glass that will prevent the crack from growing any longer, then you
can fill in with the prestone crack repair and get a few more years out of
the glass.

Subject: [Shotimes] windshield crack
I just noticed a crack in the windshield. It hasn't spread yet.
What the best remedy for patching the crack before it's too late?
