I looked at some, but not from the live feed, just from where some were
archived to a gallery. I was more interested in reading the journal than
seeing the pictures, mostly.
I somewhat agree with you. Not that somebody would go through something
like that just for self-promotion, but I think the company he works for got
a lot of free publicity. He mentions a few times about being interviewed on
CNN and various other news programs. What better way to promote your web
hosting company than to keep your servers running during and after a
hurricane, when everybody else is down. That's some pretty good reliability.
