On my car the water would have to be above the sidemarker in front to be
submerged and this is with a huge filter and 4" tubing.
I've always wanted to put a filter in the cowl area seeing as that is the
highest pressure area when driving. I now have things eliminated to the point
it may be possible with 3" tubing.
