[Shotimes] OT: Pontiac GTO

Thank you. I was hunting around on message boards to see if I could
locate any info on it but hadn't as of yet.
First for those that don't know, GM designed two 6-speed transmissions
just for this class of engine, which is the 6.0L LS2. My confusion
here is that I've always believed that true HP at the wheels is better
with a manual due the higher losses of the torque converter in
automatic transmissions (SMGs excluded).
The Tremec shifter is taking some of the blame, but apparently there a
fix for that in terms of a replacement shifter.
