[Shotimes] I need help

What year are we talking? Does it have a chip? If it is of any modern
vintage it probably does. As I mentioned in my other post, my BMW comes from
the factory with 10 keye serial #'s programmed into the computer. It came
with 4 keys. When you order more (up to 6) they program the key to match the
computer. Once you try getting that 11'th key, you have to have a BMW dealer
then go in and disable one or more serial #'s and manually add the other. I
would believe that Mercedes would do something similar.
