Oil leaks can be hard to pinpoint. There a re dye kits available cheaply,
that work well, providing you clean up all the existing goo, and have a
black light. Common SHO leak points in that area are oil level sender
switch, oil pressure switch, front main seal, and cam seals. These last two
you can't spot until you pull the front t-belt covers. The main seal may
only leak out the bootm of the cover, whereas the rear cam seal may leak out
there and also by the power steering pump. Both of which land on the cat.
