I'd have to see a block diagram of the two hoses to see where things are, relative
to each other and to the throttle venturi. If the inlet tube from under the fuel
rails goes in ahead of the throttle, it wouldn't be a vacuum leak. Is there enough
suction up there to make the whole thing work? There must be, since that's how they
all are.

I spent the day (off from work) vacuuming the tile floor portions of the house with
my new Sears shop vac, and after that, putting front seats, interior trim and
cladding onto BD. I was cruising along, until I came to the passenger side
cladding. The strip that holds the rocker cladding on is a bit rusty (yes, Joseph,
rusty), and some of the rivets are broken, so I had to stop. I thought I would have
it presentable at quitting time. If anyone is intending to remove and replace
cladding, you need to install the rocker clading first. Otherwise, it will scratch
the door clading as it goes on. I dodged a bullet with that today.

Oh well....the tunnel is becoming visible (as opposed to the light at the end of
it!)

But it is driveable now, so the renewed headliner and fixed sunshade can go in on
Tuesday or Wednesday.

One thing is for sure....it definitely is SHINY!!
