I would not be surprised that there are no US Manufacturers in NASCRAP  by 2010.  Once the new spec chassis comes out, what is the  marketing incentive?  My headlight sticker beat yours?   NASCAR has been ingnoring the manufacturers for years, and pushing the  cult of personalities of the drivers.  I still call it the WWE of  car racing, and it gets worse every week.  I hear there was a Cup  race this weekend, but I didn't watch a single minute of it.

Maybe, Maybe not.  They've pretty much run mid pack, or at the rear in F1,
and have (by most guesses) by far the largest budget.
