[Shotimes] Ford

I'll call that not true, as least not as described.

To not have accessibility to parts or parts diagrams three months ago (as in
January 2006) is a LONG time difference from 1998!! I had definitely been
buying SHO and other parts from dealers (and had them do work on the cars)
in the '98-04 time period, and it didn't seem to be an issue except for the
stuff that we knew were n/a (like oil pumps).

If SHO parts and the diagrams became unavailable as of the 1st of 2006, that
sounds reasonable, as they carried them for 10+ years.

In my 4 years of SHO ownership I have been blessed and pretty lucky. The '92
I own has been maintenance trouble free.Just the usual hoses and small items
replaced,including a new radiator.My '90 is a almost the same story,regular
maintenance parts.I was informed today something that really pissed me off
severely. In 1996 there was a kill tag for SHO parts. So in 1998 Ford ordered
all 23,000 dealers to send all the SHO specfic parts to Dearborn Mich.to be
DESTROYED.
Up until 3 months ago you could go to any Ford parts counter and ask for
any part diagram to be blown up and looked at for the part number and for
the specific location for the said part. You sure as hell can't do that
now,for Gen1 or Gen2.There is NO more data for the Gen1 and Gen2 SHO.Ford
ordered a new program and deleted the old program that had all the data for
'89-95 SHO.And there is no archives available.What gives?Ok lets recap.Ford
parts no SHO parts.Motorcraft parts has just a few SHO parts. And them are
slowly dwindling. Why would Ford do such a thing?I am in total digust with
anything that has a ford emblem.
