No, it's not behind the glove box.  It's above it, though almost hidden.  You sort of have to know it's there.  It's screwed to the upper frame that the glove box mates up to when it's closed.  It's a few inches to the right of the glove box locking mechanism.

The screw that holds the module in place is barely visible nor accessible unless you open up the glove box all the way so it touches the floor.  Get yourself lots of light down in the passenger footwell, and put your head down there too so you can get a feel for where things are.

The screw I'm talking about is located somewhere in the right side of the frame I described above.  I believe you may need a hex bit to remove it.  

Once the screw is out you can pull down the module.  You'll notice that there's a lot of wires connected to this module and that they are taped up with black tape.  You'll have to remove this tape to access the wire to cut.
