When factory and shops charge a system it is done by weight, what we usually 
buy is by volume (fluid oz for the oil). Then unless you flush the whole 
system there is oil left in the other components. The theory is to drain all 
the oil out and replace with the same amount + a little more for what stayed 
in and was lost through leakage.
