Yesterday the fires destroyed most of an entire town. And they will
continue today. High winds, single digit humidity(which is very rare here),
and no rain in forever. Oh, that and stupid people who think shooting off
fireworks is a good idea in these conditions, or burning trash, or throwing
out their lit cigarette, etc. One guy did apologize to his next door
neighbor, whose house was burned down by the fire his bottle rocket started.
Of course, he apologized from jail...

I've already tried to find the pipeline to Texas......they took it out when
NM and
AZ became states. There have been indian wars over the Colorado
River.....nothing
goes east of that!!

Sorry.

I'll load up a couple of bladder tanks when I come to Memphis.....how's
that!!??

If I could just get USAF to let me use my C-5 for a couple of weeks, I could
bring
you a LOT of water......well, probably not enough to put out 10,000 acres of
fire,
but we could protect a few houses, anyway.
