[Shotimes] gas tanks

I'd be willing to bet that one of those little plastic clips that hold
your fuel filter on worked its way off or got broken and your fuel line
is leaking fuel... not that that's ever happened to me... *whistles*

Someone else should chime in, but I believe all Tauri fuel tanks will
fit your SHO.  At least any tank from 89 - 95, that is.
Before assuming it's the tank, maybe you should check to see if the fuel
filter or a line may be leaking.  If it is the tank, why
not just go to a junkyard to get a replacement?  In this part of the
country (se PA) fuel tanks don't rust away very often.  The
junk yards are full of old Tauri with perfectly fine tanks.

I am starting to smell fumes and find some drippage under the car. Looks
like the rust fairy has visited my gas tank. Haven't checked yet but I
assume it is the tank since it is worse when full and is probably the
original 1995 tank.
Does anybody know of a source for a replacement at a reasonable price?
So far I have found a new one for $110. but only with a 3 year warranty.

When I had my probe I got a reman with a lifetime guarantee but now the
same company doesn't stock one for the sho and while they can redo mine
(with a lifetime) it will take a week and cost about $60.00 more. I like
the longer guarantee because I keep cars a long time and here in
Vermont  I have had to replace tanks on several cars more than once.
So, any sources I  should check? I suspect that with the age of our cars
there must be lots of people who have had the same problem by this time.
