[Shotimes] OT copying cassettes to CDs

My receiver doesn't have any Phono jacks on it. I tried plugging it into
the CD jacks, thinking that the turntable and the cd player are both
non-amplified sources, but that didn't work. I couldn't hear anything. I
didn't try plugging it into the Tape jacks, but that's because at the time I
also wanted to use the tape player to record the albums. That may work, but
that won't help me get them onto the computer anyway.
