I could not talk my wife into getting a SHO to match mine, instead she got a
93 Lincoln Town Car. The AM/FM Cassette works fine but we stopped and
bought her a AM/FM/CD/MP3 player on the way home. I will be pulling the
factory radio out this weekend and putting the CD in. It says FORD on it,
not Lincoln so it should match any Ford/Linc/Merc out there. The adapter
plug we got for it says "Ford/Lincoln/Mercury 1990-2000". The car does have
the "Premium Sound System" with amplifier in the trunk. It is standard DIN
sized and the car does not have radio controls in the steering wheel. I
hope this will tell you enough to let you know if it will fit in your
vehicle. I sure don't plan to get back into tapes in the future so I can't
see any reason to store it. I will happily send it to the first person that
offers to pay shipping. No handling or packing charge, just what the PO
makes me give them to get it to you. I will pack it with bubble wrap and
packing peanuts. I am located in US, Kansas to be specific. If you need a
zip to figure shipping 67561. Not sure how heavy it is, I would guess
4-5lbs but am not sure my guess would be any better then yours.
I did not mark the message OT since it will fit a SHO, but I really don't
care if you put it in your SHO or some other Ford, such as your
Grandmother's Lincoln Town Car. I tried telling my 32 year old wife that
the proper way to drive a Lincoln is with the seat so low you can see
through the steering wheel, the gas door open and the right blinker on but
she stopped listening to me years ago.
