Funny that no one had a beef when they made the Impala SS a 4-door, nor when the 300 Chryslers became 4-doors.....

IMHO, they did a fine job with the Charger. The new one is virtually as quick as the quickest Chargers from back when (440-6 Pack and Hemi), and the market isn't there for 2-door cars.

I think the plan with the Challenger as the 2-door was an excellent. I predict that there will be folks with a daily-driver Charger, and a Challenger for the weekends.

Agree with you there on the Challenger, but here's my
beef...

That, IMNSHO ladies and gents, is what the Charger
should be. I thought the Challenger was the bigger car
back in the day (sorry for all you old
timers...*wink). So why did they (Dodge) destroy the
Charger name by putting it on a fugly 4 door overgrown
over-rated 300M painted red while the Challenger looks
like an actual '60s heavy metal muscle car?!?!?!?!

Rant over. Sorry...
