The Challenger CONCEPT car has the 6.1L SRT-8 Hemi under the hood. All of the SRT-8 vehicles have an automatic. The Automobile Mag article says it has a 6-spd. But it IS a concept/show car, hell they could put a 6-spd, 10-spd, or 20-spd in it. Does anyone know if this car actually runs? How do we know it's not just a plywood buck with the big ghetto wheels and Challenger bodywork bolted to it.

Anyway, if it does go into regualr production AND they wanted to use use an MT, wouldn't they have to do an emissions recertification?

Wasn't this recertification issue the reason (besides a bit more TQ) that Ford chose the SHO 3.2L vs 3.0L for use with the ATX?
