[Shotimes] Contour SVT cheap

Chris Clark Cars in Morton IL has a 1998 SVT Contour in Red that is 
loaded and cheap.

He has had the car three times, the last time it was sold, it went to a 
young couple that didn't take care of it and it wound up back in Chris's 
hands.

The car needs a good detail but the body/paint/interior aren't torn up, 
and the car seems to run good.  Chris says it drives fine.

What it needs is at least a couple of tires, new brakes and there is a 
check engine light, there is also a small leak near or in the water pump.

A quote was given for $1100 to fix the check engine light, brakes and 
water pump.

The car has about 130,000 miles on it, the Odometer reads less because 
it was replaced under warranty and there is a sticker on the door for 
that purpose.

Chris wants $3500 for it AS-IS without even a detail.  After this Monday 
the 16th, he will get it fixed up and detailed, and the price will be 
about $5000 at that point.

I figure if someone wants it for a track car, you will want to do your 
own brakes and other things.  Why not get the bargain price.

He also has a Lincoln LS6 manual trans car that I am going to look at 
Thursday, if you have a real desire for one of these, go ahead and call 
him, I doubt I will really buy it but I might.  He is asking $10,000 for 
it and it is all black inside and out with 67,000 miles.

not on the list, then pass this info along.
