If they are annoying at highway speeds, you need a bigger resonator. A big
resonator will make any muffler work n a V6 SHO. My former '95 had a huge
resonator, and it even made $10 jobber glasspacks sound good with no rasp.

Subject: [Shotimes] Got new Flowmasters yesterday

This is probably a thread that has been talked over and over before, but
just wanted to report that I got some new Flowmaster mufflers on my '91
today and Im very happy with the sound- this is the first time I have ever
put new mufflers on a SHO, let alone aftermarkets. They give the car a nice
low "rumble", best described as very similar to my little brother's '99
Contour SVT's stock mufflers. Also, annoying at highway speeds. Just
throwing it out there in case someone is considering them. I decided to go
with them after reading about mufflers on the SHO times website- thanks to
whoever put that up- it helped quite a bit.
