Just as a follow-up, I went and took at look at the one in Morton IL 
that started this.  It is really in pretty good shape, needs a real good 
interior cleaning, but the body has no noticable dents or scrapes, and 
the interior isn't worn or torn up.

For sure needs new brake pads, and probably front rotors.  But a decent 
car, and like I said, $3500 was the first price I was given, he might 
come down.

If anyone is interested in it, get to me offlist.
