I had this question 30 years ago, and I have learned that all of the "quiet majority" that the libs wrote about years ago, plus all of the red states people that never hit the media, consitute these people.

Small business owners as well as mgmt-level big company owners (like the Ford folks I know), make a lot of $$$ and have high net worths.

Now that I have moved over to the petroleum business, I have become aware of a LOT of other folks who are worth BIG $$$. I'm sure that any business that you study will show the same thing.

Ignore the whining of the media about poor folks, there are a LOT of high net worth folks in this country that really know the score. And yes, they are not SHO folks!!

FWIW, I have a few close friends that you would run across in your local Costco or Wal-Mart, but they are worth many millions. It's more commmon than most folks realize.

1970 Chevelle LS6 convertible just went for $1150000!! I can't even fathom
that.
