[Shotimes] Rotor rusted to hub

Maybe I'm getting my cars confused, but I don't recall if the SHO rotors had the threaded bolt holes in the face of the rotor where you can thread some spare bolts in the press against the hub??

I always got them off with the BFH, though.

Use a bigger hammer, like a 5lb sledge. It'll come off. WAY easier than
replacing the entire hub/knuckle.

Subject: [Shotimes] Rotor rusted to hub

I've about had it with this '91... it has more bizarre problems than any

other Taurus/Sable (3 SHO, 2 other) that I have worked on and gotten to
know. This time it's a rotor that appears to be rusted to the hub. I've
already tried hitting the back of it with a hammer, but it just stays put
(even after putting some PB on it). Any other suggestions would be
appreciated. For that matter, how much work would be involved replacing the

whole knuckle? I don't want to do it, but if that's the only way to solve
the problem. I'm afraid the wheel bearing may be going anyway as it seems
to have some play, but the halfshaft is also out (it failed too, a few
months after the other side gave up). I have no experience with the hub,
and I've heard that the ABS sensors can be a real pain to get out without
destroying them.
