Please be assured that it does not work. It creates a sizable intake
restriction when not on, and puts out no where near the CFM required to
produce +2 psi boost. Assuming that it is capable of keeping up with the
existing air being drawn into the engine, it willing be drawing an
additional load on the engine via the alternator which would remove any
potential gain from using one. While there is video on the web of a leaf
blower producing 12+ hp in a Honda on a dyno, it was plugged into a 110v AC.
The ones I have seen on eBay in the past are 12 volt marine bilge blowers
that can be bought for $10 used on eBay. They will work for brake cooling,
but only if you have more than one hose going to the brakes, otherwise, they
are a restriction at high speed.
