   Short answer: no.  Long answer:  Hell no.  It's likely a bilge vent fan.  It takes some serious current to build any boost with an electric.  Thomas Knight (motto: A turbo in every Probe) has a modified turbo available driven by three custom wound starter motors that actually built about 5psi of boost, but only for about 15 seconds, and it had an impressive 3-4 battery bank that it fully depleted in that time.  Oh, and some serious 2/0 gauge interconnects.  Kinda an e-nitrous setup.
   If you want electric boost without extra batteries, be prepared for disappointment.  e-superchargers has a unit that builds about 1/2psi of boost, plust (they claim) overcomes about 1/2psi worth of restriction, so they put it forward as a 1psi system.
