I was pulling into the park today to go for my daily run, and as i made the
right, i felt a wierd vibration, at first i thought, eh musta been some
funky pavement or somthing, but then it did it again as i turned right into
a parking spot. So then im sitting there in the parking spot turning the
wheel, left and right, lock to lock. Turning left, no problem, smooth pwr
steering. When i turn right, the wheel itself feels normal, full pwr.
steering, BUT, the whole car makes this low humming vibration, almost like
what you would feel from a subwoofer cranked up a LOT. Huh!? it was dark,
cold and windy by the time i came home, so i didnt feel like tearing into
anything tonite. Im gonna check it out tomorrow, but im not sure what would
make it do that. I just had the 60k done, and they did a power steering
service. Could it be air bubbles in the pwr. steering lines/system maybe?
Although it only does it in one direction, but i dunno, anything could be
possible i suppose. Im gonna double check the tightness of the aluminum
subframe bushings to for kicks. Any other thoughts would be welcomed.
