Wow, too bad.  he was one of my hero's and one reason I didn't mind when 
people started calling me Dyno Don.  I took pride in the fact that I 
could shift a stick almost as well as he could.

I watched him drive at Indy for The Nationals against others I respect 
like Arnie Beswick.  As recent as a couple of years ago I think, the two 
of them were still doing grudge exhibition matches for more money than 
they ever made back in the 60's.

The Alzheimers must have taken him quickly.

I had an uncle die from it, wasn't pretty.
