I think the tire brand and design are also a factor. I have Kumho 712 tires, 235 on 7.5" rims and the fit and handling seem excellent to me, sidewalls are just about exactly vertical. VO ----- Original Message ----- 225 is just too wide for a 6" rim. 7.5" minimum, and 8" wide is best. Ron Porter
