Are the theft numbers relative to the number of sold cars or are they absolute numbers?

I think it's the relative number of any car model that is stolen that is mostly of interest to people, no?

Regardless, though, whether they are relative or absolute, wouldn't you expect to see ultra-expensive cars like Ferrari and Lambo to be the least stolen?
