No. K and Ka is still in heavy use.

In fact, the newest guns are the POP guns, which detector makers are now
starting to incorporate into their products.

IMHO, these will be more popular than laser, and they are as easy to operate
as the typical radar guns. Laser guns take WRK, they must be aimed, and not
through window glass. Can't eat donuts or take a nap while using a laser
gun!!
