Ok, I had originally planned on going Sunday and booked my room for Sunday.
When talking to Kirk about it last time he was here I thought for certain he
said something to the effect of driving down on Monday because it would only
be a couple of hours from here. If everyone/anyone wants to show up here on
Saturday and go on Sunday that is perfectly fine, I'll be here either way.
Chances are I will not be driving down myself until Monday and save a nights
hotel expense.

I have no idea how many people are even considering the stop here...as I said,
it makes no difference to me.......just try and let me know what to expect
before then.

  Rick,

In my conversations with Kirk, I thought your party was on Saturday night,
with the drive to Memphis on Sunday??

As Kirk mentioned recently there are tentative plans for a few of the
convention goers to be stopping by my place before the convention, just
outside of Nashville (10 miles east of the airport, I-40 @ exit 226). If
anyone wants to make plans to break the drive by a few hours, stop here on
Sunday evening, and run with us to Memphis on Monday morning lets get the
plans started now. It is roughly 3 hours from my door to the hotel in
Memphis, more like 2 - 2.5 hours the way some of us run......

I'm not planning anything too exciting, basic convention parking lot
festivities. I live on a cul-de-sac and have already warned a few of the
neighbors that there could be a small crowd here. I should have plenty of
room for parking, if not in my yard we can probably use part of the neighbors.
I really don't have sleeping room for anyone else to stay overnight here, but
there is a nice hotel about 2 miles away (right at the exit), even if you
aren't sure yet, but think you may want to stop here I suggest booking a room
very soon, this place seems to stay pretty full.

This link still shows the name to be Micro-tel, which changed several months
ago,

but they have the lowest rate I have found online http://tinyurl.com/gzv6a.

Might get a better rate calling direct, but I doubt it.

Should be fun.....all I ask is that you bring your own food and beverage, I
will have the grill going.......I also have an extra fridge and freezer (both
outside) to help keep your beverage of choice cold.

If you plan on coming by and want the address send me a message off-list or
call my cell 615-516-4965.
