[Shotimes] Removing headlights

I was describing the gen2 clips. A few years back I purchased 12 from a dealer for $6.

A 75-90 degree circlip tool works perfectly, and can be had at most autoparts stores for about $5. 

I remember my 93 sable had slightly different clips from my 95 SHO. The earlier clips put pressure on the plastic shaft, but you could pull up by grabbing the top of the clip and they would slide off. The SHO has indentations around the shaft, and the clips "snap" into these indentations. You MUST use a tool to pull the "arms" of the clip out of the indentations on the shaft, or you will likely bend and/or break off the arms. 

Not that the arms matter much. Gravity tends to keep the clips in place without them.
