[Shotimes] Autocross a SHO

This is all fine for newbies. I see these stories on the 911 list with the
TracQuest events.

Some drivers will NEVER be good, and others improve. Once folks get some
experience, the car matters. The SHO is no longer competitive (same with my
Fiero that I had hoped to run in Auto-x). If you get semi-serious, hoping
tat al newbies show up for you to win is dreaming.

The SHO has it's strengths. Organized Motorsports is no longer one of them.

If you want to do it for fun, a big church bus will also suit your purposes.

Did an autoX were I brought the mostly stock 93 (at the time).  Another guys
howed up in his nearly brand new Porsche Carrerra.  He was shocked when I
would turn in raw times 2 seconds faster than him in a car that's the size
of a small bus.

I think the correct statement has been made:  A good driver can make up for
a crappy car, but a good car can't make up as much for a crappy driver.
