Glad to hear you had a good time.  Now that you've done it once,
you'll be hooked and coming back regularly.

I read you other message as well...  never had a clutch problem, but I
rarely shift in auto-X.  most tracks can be doen completely in 2nd and
you woun't loose much time vs shifting.  A couple tracks I have been
on I have never had to get out of 1st.  That makes understeer out of
corners fun, you get to practice throttle control a lot.

You should be using the brakes,=, and getting into the ABS.  You want
to be at 100% grip basically at all times, whether it's under accel,
braking, or cornering.  So you want ot keep your foot in the
accelerator just a bit longer than your brain is ok with, then get
into the brakes at 100% traction for the turn.  It depends on the
track, but brakes really do make you go faster.
