[Shotimes] flat tire - tire wall damage?

True Ron, but it's not always the best case. I have had one RH
warranty service on a set of tires in the last 10 years. That's
probably 1 tire out of 20. So figure by your numbers I would have
paid out $129 for each set... so $645 for one RH... and they just
patched it, not replaced.
Sorry, I'll pass. I have access to mounting and balancing equipment
now, so my cost is basically nothing for that. (Twice I got it for
free through tire rack anyway - when I bought wheels and tires). So
I'll stick to paying for a replacement as needed.
