[Shotimes] Car and Driver Misc

I keep a subscription to Road & Track only because of Peter Egan's
writing and column. Same with Car & Driver and Brock. He may have been
a crotchety old A-hole, but he was always entertaining! I suspect he
rubbed some suit the wrong way, and/or was just getting to demanding in
the pay department.

I am down on both magazines mentioned because they pretty much totally
ignore Ford and GM and most of Daimler Chrysler when it comes to car
reviews and if they DO review them, the articles just ooze of hate.
They don't even try to be objective and see any good in "American" cars
but fall all over themselves to overlook problems with imports.

I will probably drop C&D, but not sure what I will replace it with.
Anyone find a really good objective magazine? I buy a Motor Trend once
in a while, and may try them again. Automobile Mag. is even more only
for the imports and super high end stuff, so it is out.

Guess I need to visit a Borders or something and just camp out in the
magazine dept till I find something I like.
