"Dubs" (which I understand to be wheels 20" or larger) also won't fit on
smaller cars.

A recent article on the new Escalade talks about a customer preview in LA
about two years ago. The car had 20" wheels on it, and the audience (rap
stars, etc) said they needed bigger wheels. They have revised the suspension
for bigger wheels and the new Escalade has 22s as an option.

There are more places to hid drugs and MAC10's in a big car, and after you
spend $8k on the wheels, that doesn't leave much left for the car itself.  A
$1000 caprice fits the bill perfect :)
