[Shotimes] Slicer stock tire size?

215/60/16 was stock

Many folks have gone to 225/50/16 or 225/55/16 on a slicer, but that's not
very optimal. Did so myself, but besides (IMHO) looking dumb on a 6" wide
rim, there were some weird handling quirks on a track.

Best bet is to stay with a 215/60 or 215/55 tire for the best over all
performance, although the selection gets limited. Which is why many folks
went to the 225 tires, as 225s are probably the most common tire size.

Subject: [Shotimes] Slicer stock tire size?

Stupid question - I have white bi-directional slicers (what year(s)?) on my
white '90.

I looked at the tire sticker and, of course, it didn't show the 16" stock
tire, but I also found that it was a std Taurus sticker and not a SHO one!

Can someone tell me the stock slicer tire size - and also what works well?

Thanks,

mm in sunny FL
