[Shotimes] radiator needed

Well I finally got to install the radiator I got from Nimz. Perfect  
fit thank you. Now I know about the burping procedure but I can;t  
find it  so can someone tell me how to do it please?
Also, the car sat for some time before  I could get to it. When I put  
everything back and started, it lit the battery light and wouldn't  
charge. Cleaning the battery terminals seems to have cured it but are  
there any other possibilities? I checked all the connections and  
grounds and they seem tight. Any ideas?
