I'm looking into having a replacement batch of them made up since I came across a new one in the bag, at the bottom of a box of parts I have. Thanks -- Bruce J. We are mainly concerned with shear strength. Since the key is being held in close contact with the crank and sprocket without movment, wear over time should not be a problem. Not a problem on the highway but it is getting hot in city traffic. The fan works if you give it direct power. The 50 amp fuse is good. So it's either a relay, bad wire, or sensor. I'm thinking relay because turning on max a/c doesn't make it run and if it was a sensor I would think that control would bypass it. Question is where are the relay and sensor located? There is a relay mounted on the radiator frame by the driver's side headlamp. Is that it? Anybody know or have any other suggestions? There are other relays in that box for the fuel pump and other parts. It's a metal box attached to the radiator support under the plastic "tool tray". I would think you could find a known good one for cheap. The temp sensor used is actually the same sensor that feeds the engine temperature to the Powertrain Cotrol Module (PCM). The PCM is what sends the signal power to the relay to turn the fan on based on the engine temperature. The sensor is a 2 wire sensor in the housing near the thermostat. The one wire sensor is strictly used to control the temperature gauge in the car. Zach On 7/27/07, Barry Hayes wrote: > > so my cooling fan on the 95mtx doesn't come on. I got a small box of tools, nothing really impressive except a new 1/2" torque wrench - but I also recieved a large stack of gift cards. So the wedding santa brought Zach all new toolboxes in trade for those gift cards! No more junky plastic jobs, I can actually put tools in (gasp) drawers!!!
