Hello,

There is one thing that you need to watch out for when
using these adapters:  It seems natural to permanently
attach the adapter to the block.  However, this can
leave the adapter screwed into the block too far, and
it may not stick out enough to screw very far into the
filter.  The threads on each end will engage more
fully if you screw the adapter finger-tight into the
filter before screwing the filter onto the block.

Possibly you could work around this by making up a
spacer to go between the adapter and the block, so it
sticks out further.
