[Spridgets] Confused as heck...

I should learn NOT to jump to conclusions...!!

I have just removed and cleaned the inlet manifold and SU's, and I find the 
following..
1) The manifold is marked 12g1450 - which is correct for a 1275 motor.
and,
2)Cleaning off the Aluminum paint from the carbs I find the tabs are 
stamped AUD328F/R - which is also correct for a 1275 motor.

SO why are my float bowls leaning at an angle intead of being upright??
I'm soooo confused !!
