I hear ya, but I'm in the midst of bearing hell at
work right now with an angular contact ball bearing
that is failing under minimal thrust load, so I'm a
little biased at the moment. There was a bearing
engineer on the list, I forget who - please contact me
if you're doing any consulting (seriously).
