I had 7 in my '76 MGB; top down and I got pulled over ...

Some of the people in my car were razzing some girls in a car travelling
beside us.  If they hadn't turned around and come back, I think we were in
trouble.  But, they came back and said something to the effect of "I hope we
didn't get them in trouble!"  The cop looked at the car and said that 3 had
to get out and walk or he would give all of us a ride.  We were 3 blocks
from my place at that point.

I had 6 in my 1st MGB. I got handcuffed by a cop, 1st
and only time ever. Later 3 of the girls used
handcuffs on each other, but that's a whole 'nother
story. The 80s WERE good for a few things.
